What to Expect in May 2026
Across an evening and two transformative full days, you’ll hear from 20+ Black Women thought leaders, healers, entrepreneurs, and career experts who’ve rewritten their own stories of liberation. Through panel discussions, workshops, and guided healing sessions, you’ll discover practical tools to navigate career transitions, protect your peace, and expand your possibilities. Whether you’re leaving a toxic job, dreaming of entrepreneurship, or simply craving rest—you’ll find community and clarity here.
This summit isn’t about promoting hustle culture or quick fixes—it’s about collective healing and sustainable change. You’ll be invited to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with what liberation looks like for you. Through honest conversations, storytelling, and community care, we’ll explore what it means to not just leave harmful workplaces, but to create lives rooted in rest, joy, and self-determination. Every session is designed to remind you that you are not alone—and that your liberation contributes to ours all.
Why This Matters
In the past year, more than 300,000 Black Women have been laid off or pushed out of the workforce. In April alone, over 106,000 Black Women lost jobs—the largest decline of any group. These aren’t isolated numbers; they reflect a larger truth about how racialized stress, economic inequity, and the rollback of DEI initiatives continue to impact our livelihoods. Black Women have long carried workplaces that were never built for our safety or success, and the toll is showing up in our bodies, our finances, and our dreams.
The Job Liberation Virtual Summit for Black Women was created in response to this reality—a space for truth-telling, healing, and possibility. It’s where we gather to name the harm, reclaim our power, and build new systems that honor our labor and our lives. Together, we’re reimagining what work, rest, and freedom can look like for Black Women everywhere.
